He was the Team Principal who led Red Bull to victory for four consecutive years from 2010 through 2013, and is the youngest team principal to win a WCC title.
As a driver, Horner competed in the International Formula 3000 series between 1997-1998, scoring one point.
In 2013, he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) at the Queen of England's Birthday Honours for services to motorsport. This made him the second person in Red Bull to receive this honor, following Adrian Newey in 2012.
In 2015, he married pop singer from the Spice Girls, Geri Halliwell.
