'Cesare Perdisa (born 12 October 1932 and died 10 May 1998) was an Italian Formula One driver who participated in the sport between 1955 and 1957 with Maserati, also making an appearance with Ferrari at the end of his F1 career.
He is credited with two podium finishes, although both were shared drives so he only scored half of the points. Of his seven race starts, four were shared drives with his more experienced teammates.
In March 1957, Perdisa's close friend and teammate at the time Eugenio Castellotti was killed in an accident while testing a Ferrari F1 car at Autodromo di Modena. The sudden loss shocked Perdisa and ultimately led to his retirement from racing.
Perdisa's driving talent came in handy after his retirement when he rushed Juan Manuel Fangio and his wife to hospital after they had suffered a car crash in Italy while driving on a highway.
