William "Wild Bill" Cantrell (born 31 January 1908 and died 22 January 1996) was an American power boat and racecar driver. In 1950 and 1952, he attempted to qualify for the Indianapolis 500, but was unsuccessful. At the 1950 race, he shared a drive with Bayliss Levrett, although he drove just three laps before the car suffered a mechanical failure.
Cantrell was the winner of the prestigious Gold Cup in 1949 in Detroit. In 1992, he was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America for his achievements in power boat racing.
