The Belgian Grand Prix is a current race on the Formula One calendar. Since the first race in 1925, it has been held most years at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, but in the 1970s and early 1980s, it was moved to Circuit Zolder and Nivelles-Baulers. The current circuit is a shortened, seven kilometer version of the Spa track.

Event History[]

To some, the Belgian Grand Prix was considered to be the first Grand Prix to be hosted after the conclusion of the Second World War.[1] Whilst not an official Grand Prix, the 1946 Bruxelles Grand Prix, a sportscar race was referred to as the "Belgian Grand Prix" by various media sources.[1]
