The AlphaTauri AT02 was the second car constructed by the Italian team since it changed identities from Toro Rosso from the start of the 2020 season. The car was carried over many design concepts from the 2020 season since regulation changes hampered further developments by AlphaTauri.

The car was powered by Honda engines, and was driven by Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda.
