The AlphaTauri AT01 was the first car constructed by the Italian team since it changed identities from Toro Rosso from the start of the 2020 season. The car was initially designed for the 2020 season, but will be retained for 2021 due to the delay in the rule changes brought about the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The car was powered by Honda engines, and was driven by Daniil Kvyat and Pierre Gasly.
