Achille Varzi (August 8, 1904 - July 1, 1948) was an Italian racing driver who competed in pre-war Grands Prix and won two races in the European Championship.

Varzi was killed when rain fell during practice for the 1948 Swiss Grand Prix, causing him to lose control. His death, in which his car flipped over, crushing him to death, was in part responsible for the FIA mandating crash helmets for Grand Prix racing.
