The Acer 01A was a 3.0L V10 naturally-aspirated Formula One engine designed by Ferrari and rebadged by Acer for the 2001 Formula One Season. The engine was actually a Ferrari 049 that the works-Ferrari team had used in 2000.
After a falling out with the team's previous engine supplier Peugeot, the team reached a deal with Ferrari to purchase customer 2000-spec engines for 2001. Although the engines were more reliable than the Peugeot A20 used by the team previously, it was not enough to save the team from financial collapse at the end of the season.
