Carlos Sainz couldnt start eh formation lap leading to a aborted lap before he could start and resulted in a pit - lane start. But disaster struck again because as he lined up in the pit lane, his rear brakes caught fire causing a DNS. In Lap 1, Max Verstappen and Kimi Antonelli had a racing incident leading to both DNF's
