The 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix (officially the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix 2024) was the thirteenth race of the 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship, currently held at Hungaroring on the weekend of July 19 to July 21, 2024.

Carlos Sainz, Jr. was fastest in the first practice session at the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix. Second and third fastest in FP1 were Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, respectively. Lando Norris led the pack in the second practice session at the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix, followed by Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz, Jr. in second and third, respectively. Lando Norris set the fastest time in third practice session at the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix, followed by his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri and Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen set the third quickest time in FP3.

During qualifying on Saturday, Lando Norris secured his third career pole position at the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix. He was joined by his teammate, Oscar Piastri, for McLaren's 63^rd one-two front row lock out. The last time McLaren secured a front-row lock out was over 14 years at the 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix.

Oscar Piastri won the race on Sunday, his first career victory. His McLaren teammate, Lando Norris, takes second-place to give McLaren their first one-two finish since the 2021 Italian Grand Prix. To complete the podium, Lewis Hamilton took third-place for his 200^th career podium.
