The 2023 Singapore Grand Prix (officially the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2023) was the sixteenth round of the 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship, which was held at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on the weekend of September 15 to September 17 2023 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit located in Marina Bay, Singapore.

Background[]

The event will be held across the weekend of 15th-17th September. It will be the 15thround of the 2023 Formula One World Championship and the 22nd running of the Singapore Grand Prix

Pre-Race Championship Standings[]

Going into the weekend, Max Verstappen leads the Drivers' Championship by 145 points from teammate Sergio Pérez with Fernando Alonso falling back with 49 points.
Red Bull Racing leads the Constructors' Championship by Mercedes for 310 points and leads Ferrari by 45 points.

There is a possibility that Red Bull could secure their 6th Constructors' Championship, their 2nd in a row. They can win the title as long as they earn 43 more points than Mercedes, their advantage would be same as the maxinum number of points could be obtained until the season finale(353). However, Mercedes won't be able to win on a tie breaker as Red Bull achieving more wins than Mercedes.
