The 2013 Young Driver Test was a mid-season test held at the Silverstone Circuit involving many of the sport's up-and-coming young drivers. The test took place between the 17th and 19th July 2013 on the Arena layout of the Silverstone Circuit. The event was attended by all teams currently competing in the 2013 Formula One Season with the exception of Mercedes, who were banned from the event for infringement of Article 22.4(h) of the FIA Sporting Regulations and Article 151(c) of the International Sporting Code.

On 1 July, it was announced that race drivers can drive in the test, as long as they are conducting tyre development. They also stated that the test could have been extended by an additional day, but this was not applied.

McLaren's Kevin Magnussen set the fastest time on the first day, 0.172 seconds ahead of full time driver Paul di Resta.

On day two, Daniel Ricciardo was strongest, posting the best time in his Toro Rosso in the morning, before posting the third-best time for Red Bull in the afternoon.

On the third day, Sebastian Vettel set the quickest time of the test with a 1:32.894.
