The 2011 Australian Grand Prix, formally known as the 2011 Formula 1 Qantas Australian Grand Prix, was the first round of the 2011 FIA Formula One World Championship. It took place at the Albert Park Circuit on the 27th of March. The race was won by Red Bull-Renault driver Sebastian Vettel with Lewis Hamilton for McLaren-Mercedes in second and Vitaly Petrov of Renault F1 in third.
