The 1959 Monaco Grand Prix was the opening round of the 1959 season, held on May 10. The race was won by Jack Brabham in a factory Cooper-Climax, after the privateer Cooper of polesitter Stirling Moss suffered a broken transmission on lap 81. Tony Brooks finished second in a Ferrari, ahead of Maurice Trintignant in another Cooper.
