The 1958 Aintree 200 was a non-championship race held on April 19. The race had an exciting finish, when Stirling Moss held off Jack Brabham by 0.2 seconds. Tony Brooks finished third. Each of the top six finishers were driving Cooper-Climax cars, although three of them used Formula 2 engines.

Polesitter Jean Behra, driving a BRM, retired before half distance with brake problems.
