The 1955 Monaco Grand Prix, known officially as the XIIIe Grand Prix Automobile de Monaco, was held on May 22. A race of attrition resulted in defeat for the heavily favored Mercedes team, and a win for French driver Maurice Trintignant in a Ferrari, ahead of Eugenio Castellotti in a Lancia and Jean Behra in a Maserati.
