The 1955 French Grand Prix was meant to be an event of the 1955 World Championship which was scheduled to be held at Reims on 3 July 1955. The event was cancelled in the wake of the 1955 Le Mans disaster in which more than 80 spectators and Pierre Levegh were killed.
