The 1938 German Grand Prix was a Grand Prix motor race held at the Nürburgring on 24 July 1938. The race was dominated by the Mercedes-Benz team, with Richard Seaman taking advantage of a pit fire of the car of Manfred von Brauchitsch to pull off a spectacular win. The race was seen by a record crowd of 350,000.
