1 (also called Life on the Limit) is a 2013 documentary film directed by Paul Crowder and written by Mark Monroe. It was released on October 1, 2013.

It is about the golden era of Formula One racing and tells the story of a generation of drivers that raced during Formula One's most deadly period. It highlights the drivers that would change the sport forever.

The documentary features the lives for Formula One racing legends from the deadliest eras of the sport. It includes some famous drivers of the time, like Jim Clark, Jochen Rindt, François Cevert and Ayrton Senna. It also includes interviews from the racing stars of today, like Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton. Past drivers like Michael Schumacher, Jackie Stewart and Niki Lauda are also featured.
